I've discovered Scrapblog!!

I recently have discovered digital scrapbooking, and I'm really just totally a newbie to the whole craft of digital scrapbooking, but I recently found SCRAPBLOG and I had SO much fun creating a little Mother's Day card for my daughter for her FIRST Mother's Day coming up! Here it is...

I can see that digital crafting can be addictive, there's just NO hope that I'll get the house clean anytime soon with all the wonderful crafts out there these days!

I forgot to respond this Saturday for Pink Saturday..

But I thought I'd share my "pink" treasure, this Josef music box I found at an antiques shop while out with my daughter and my friend Maria! I have seen this exact piece on Ebay for a LOT more, and I got it 35 percent off! Yeah! I paid only $32.00! Which is a great price in my view!

Also, I found these gorgeous vases, don't you love the colors?! And the vintage jewelry was only like $1.50 for the pearl and $6.00 for the vintage rhinestone necklace, I like using the rhinestones when I do mixed media art!

Don't you just LOVE a day browsing through an antique store or two...or three?! Suzie

WOW!! My gorgeous swap I received!

I received my BEAUTIFUL Marie Antoinette swap art yesterday from my swap partner Basic Living Life should include Creativity! and Cheryl and NOT only was there the Marie Antoinette artwork, but she made me EXTRAS!
She made me this gorgeous necklace, MA handmade birthday cards and a metal crown hook!

Her Marie Antoinette artwork was SO creative! Cheryl created 12 little decorated pockets, each with mini cards with Marie pictures on each, and the story of Marie Antoinette's life on the back...

Another Marie Antoinette art piece finished...

This one is the piece I made for my daughter Megan...
I used some of the same themes in Megan's artwork as I did for my Marie Antoinette swap piece, such as the mirrors with "eat cake"...

A little glitter cheered things up here! Plus the goodies I received yesterday from winning a giveaway, love the vintage jewels!

Another beautiful Pink Saturday!

Hi, friends! I wanted to share with you on this Pink Saturday a lamp I commissioned from Marilyn at The Cutest Cottage Lamps to put into my Granddaughter, Madison's nursery here at Grandma's house!
You may remember this adorable vase I posted a while back on another Pink Saturday...

Well, I sent it to Marilyn and she designed a shade and base to complement it, and here's the gorgeous results! Oh, I LOVE it!

Marilyn said she thought it was the cutest she's designed yet, and I agree! It's on it's way to me now, I can't wait to put it in little Madison's room here at Grandma's house! Look at the cute rabbit on the shade!
