Party Questions from "If I could set my sould free" Party Blogiversary

In my wish to participate in the fun along with Sherry and the other participants, I am posting questions Sherry posed on her blog today with my answers, and I'll check other participants to see if they answered too! Thanks for the fun, Sherry! Here it goes...
What type of job do you have? I am a certified court reporter, but I use my skills to caption live television programs as a Realtime Broadcast Captioner.
Where do you live? Garland, TX, a suburb of Dallas, TX. I grew up in Maryland.
Where do you do your crafts/art work? In my home office where I caption and also in another spare bedroom that's now a guest room. That's where I sew.
What is your favorite daytime beverage? I get a headache if I don't have my sugarfree vanilla Americano from Starbucks each day, 2.5 Splenda and half and half, please!
What is your favorite dessert? Same as Sherry's answer --Ice Cream, pies, cheesecake, etc.......
Do you watch soap opera's and if you do what's your favorite? No, I really watch very little TV outside of my job, because I "watch" TV all day, I'd rather craft or read when not working!
What's the last movie you saw in a movie theatre? It's been a while, there was one after "Sex and the City", but I can't remember now!

What about you? Please join the party! Hope you'll RSVP to Sherry at http://ificouldsetmysouldfree.blogspot.com
Have a great Tuesday!

  1. Thanks for joining in Susan!! I've never had a coffee at Starbucks before. I've never ordered a coffee except to say "just black" or "I'll splurge and take the cream and sugar". I hear I'm missing something good! Someday, I'll have to venture out to Starbucks.

    Have a great Wednesday!

  4. Hello! How fun getting to know you. Everytime I watch t.v. and read the description, I always think.. somebody has to type up those descriptions. Who does that? Now I know! Susan does! :)

  5. Oh I see now about your job... Thank you for clarifying, and thank you for your nice comments on my blog. :) Your job must keep you pretty well-informed on current events having to watch the news and such.
Thank you again Susan for your nice comments. It's always fun meeting new people.
