I was so excited to receive this lovely Santa cross stitch pillow and handmade table runner from Karen at Little Pieces of my Life
I bought this little ceramic scene several years ago and the runner looks fantastic under it! Thanks, Karen, you're sweet! I love it! Suzie Button
P.S. I just clicked on my picture to see how it turned out and see that I didn't notice the Diar-Rhea medicine for my dog was in the background! It gave me a good laugh (but not really during the five days that my dog was sick -- he got in the trash! He woke us up like every hour for four nights in a row to go outside -- he has this high pitched wail! UGH! But I love my dogs, I'd put up with anything!) anyways, sorry about the extra not-so-Christmasy details there! :>)

Happy Pink Saturday, everyone!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and found great sales on Black Friday
(I did!)
I thought I'd share some stockings I made several years ago. I just love to use vintage chenille bedspreads for crafts, I'm sure you do also, and I made some easy stockings out of one pink bedspread, I used my machine to monogram initials and surrounded the monograms with vintage buttons, and LOTS of glitter on top and then trimmed the top edge with various vintage edgings and ribbons, some from vintage linens! I really love the color pink for Christmas decorating, don't you?
Please visit How Sweet the Sound for all the Pink Saturday participants! Thanks, Beverly, for being our host! Suzie

Yes, I am humming as I dream of Christmas! Due to my wonderful daughter's efforts, I have my decorations up already! This is a first for me to have Christmas up before Thanksgiving, and it's made me hop right into the holiday spirit! Suzie

PINK continues on Sunday too...
Here's a close-up of the sugary, sparkly house I bought from the Chi Omega shopping extravaganza! Isn't it beautiful?!! Plus these are my crazy friends, Gail and Maria! Gail purchased a couple of these wiggle scooters at the market and needed to try them out to see if they work. Crazy girls! Suzie
