Have you seen "Amazing Grace"?

I recently came across this movie on cable based on the story of William Wilberforce (1759-1833)

Wilberforce
Photobucket was an abolitionist and fought for the end to the Atlantic slave trade in Britian. This movie was wonderful, to see a movie about making an unpopular but moral choice in life and living your faith!
Also it is connected with John Newton who had been a captain on a slave boat and saw the "light" and wrote "Amazing Grace" as a result of opening his eyes to truth!
Please enjoy Leann Rimes singing "Amazing Grace."

Blessings, Suzie

  1. Yes, we've seen the movie! LOVED IT! And when we went to London last year we looked up Wilberforce's grave in Westminster Abbey. There is a wonderful statue of him there above his remains.
Thanks for visiting my blog today!

  2. Suzie! I absolutely LOVE this movie! I totally get into obscure, not so well-known movies like this. This entertainment company that produced this video actually makes several others that are a good message/story like Amazing Grace. You might want to check them out! Also, here's another good message movie if you haven't already rented it: Fireproof.
