Glass hearts!

Hi, Friends! I wanted to share an easy and C-U-T-E craft with you that can be for Valentine's Day or ANY day! Yippee!
I'm going to show you the END first, the results of your crafting! You like that?! Me too! (I have very little patience for waiting for what I want, especially when it comes to crafting!)
Here's one example of a Valentine Version...

And another little glass cutie...

And here's how to make your own!
First purchase or scour those cupboards for cute glass containers, OR you can do this on old silver trays too! Gather up your beautiful buttons...

Glue them in place!

I let mine dry for a whole day.
Then it's time to make the magic!
Mix according to directions and let dry!
I bought my 'Quick Water' at Hobby Lobby in the floral dept. next to the glass vases.
I'm sure Michael's or your local craft store will have it too! Use your coupons. It was $12.00 reg. price.
It takes longer to dry than you'd expect (FYI)

Love to you this February Day!

  3. Oh, REALLY CUTE, Suzie!! I will have to see if I can find this "Quick Water" 'round here hopefully. I don't have a Michaels OR a Hobby Lobby close to where I live... but I guess I could order it online if I had to! My heads already spinning, wondering what else you could make with this stuff! Looks like fun! ~tina
