Introspection on International Women's Day

Did you know today was International Women's Day?
Yes, it is.
On this day of women, I'm seeing the world slightly differently than before...
with glasses on for the
first time in my life!
So, yes, I must be officially
middle-aged.
Ha,Ha!

I'm a bit surprised too that I'm "earning" so many life lines too after viewing my self portrait!
As I peer out with a new enhanced vision to my life, I thank God for all the opportunities I've been afforded
and for the blessings in my life.
I thank God for all the hard times that taught me to treasure the good times.
I honor where I am at this point in life and I want to not fight against life to be someone thinner, prettier, less wrinkled, smarter or stronger, because I honor who I am...
                                JUST AS GOD MADE ME.
I don't want to miss out on the joys of being a wife, mother and especially a Grandmother.
I want to hug it all close and drown in the joys of all the roles I've been in my life.
To all the amazing women out there in blogland I have this quote for you...
It takes a lot of courage to show your dreams to someone else.I
That quote is from the wonderful...
Erma Bombeck

Blogging has brought to me a real sense of the strengths, talents, and business smarts of women.
There are so many creative and smart savvy women in blogland who have followed their dreams and displayed their talents.
That's why I am drawn to be among these women, they inspire me.
                                             YOU INSPIRE ME!
