Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

Photobucket
Happy Pink Saturday, friends! I'm pretty excited to show you a few "pink" pictures of the musical of "Mary Poppins" that I saw last night at Music Hall here in Dallas...

Look at Mary's Pink dress AND Pink shoes, the costumes were wonderful!
Photobucket
The chimney sweep(s) performances were one of my favorites, but, of course, there's SO much to love from Mary Poppins!

Including Mary flying all the way through Music Hall to the very rafters!
The scenery was fantastic and the costumes gorgeous and the actors superb and talented!
Of course, we'll always love Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke first in our hearts...

If you have an opportunity to see the stage version of Mary Poppins, I highly recommend it!
Thanks to our host at Beverly's blog How Sweet the Sound and be sure to visit other Pink Saturday friends!
Here's a little YouTube of Mary Poppins with Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke for you today too...

Must See Movies...

There was quite a bit to caption this week on TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival) and I saw several films that I surely hope will be released here in the U.S. so that I can see them!

The first is "The Young Victoria" starring Emily Blunt.
I'm a sucker for period movies, the costumes and settings just draw me in and I sigh in happiness to soak it all in...

And then there's "An Education"...

You just MUST watch the trailer here...

It's supposed to hit the U.S. mid October, I definitely want to see it!
Oprah Winfrey was part of the movie "Precious"...

Here is the trailer...

This movie is definitely not a lighthearted movie, but definitely on my list of must sees!
See ya' at the movies!

Happy Pink Halloween Saturday!

Hi, Friends! I thought I'd share some Etsy goodies for Halloween that are pink and sweet, and just a little bit "scary" at times!

So many great ways to bring OUR favorite color, Pink, into the holiday!
Also, I thought you might be a bit hungry too this morning, so here's a little pumpkin Halloween recipe for you too!

Thanks, Martha!

I'm back on the Halloween costume kick for my granddaughter, Madison! I had thought the cupcake...

Well, to try to make my own verison of the cupcake, but then today I came across MANY more costumes, where else, but at Martha Stewart's website and now I just CAN'T decide!

They're ALL SO CUTE! Which one is your favorite?
Madison will be six months old for her first Halloween.

A taste of Europe...

Hi friends! I've been furiously working on getting my tin decorated and in the mail for my Tin Swap and thought I'd share what I came up with...
Photobucket
I found this London clock knob at a local gift store and knew it would be terrific on my tin and that set the design of my project!
I carried the theme through on decorating the inside...
Photobucket
and I filled my tin with French inspired goodies...
Photobucket
I especially love the tiny little spoon!
I also made a few tiles with images to add in with Jim Holtz tiles, love them!
Photobucket
Now on to preparing for a little craft day with some friends and fellow bloggers I met at the Cowgirl Art Retreat. This should be fun!
